Saffron Road debuts four new frozen entrees
Stamford-headquartered Saffron Road Foods has added four new products to its line of Halal-certified frozen entrees.
The company debuted its first North African-inspired meal with Moroccan-Inspired Chicken & Potatoes, a gluten free casserole of potatoes, peas, and white meat chicken swirled with a roasted red pepper, tomato, and garlic sauce.
Coconut Cauliflower Curry is a vegan and gluten free combination of roasted cauliflower and white beans is served in a rich curry of coconut cream and warming Indian spices.
Chickpea Masala is a vegan gluten free mix of chickpeas and tomatoes simmered in a blend of garlic, ginger and Indian spices and served with Basmati rice.
Chicken Enchiladas Al Chipotle is a gluten free Mexican-style offering with roasted dark meat chicken, fire-roasted corn and Oaxaca cheese are hand-wrapped in nixtamal corn tortillas with a creamy chipotle sauce and served with black beans and rice.
Each entree has an MSRP of $5.99.
