Fondue for a good cause

The Melting Pot, located on Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains, is teaming with Elmsford-based Westhab Inc. on a fondue fundraiser.

During October, Melting Pot will be sponsoring two events, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to Westhab. Westhab is a provider of housing and supportive services for homeless and low-income families.

Westhab also provides opportunities for employment as well as comprehensive services to 2,000 homeless and at-risk youth.

On Oct. 19, patrons can enjoy a fondue meal, featuring raffles. On Oct. 26, a bar event will be held where a portion of patrons’ bar tabs will be donated to Westhab.

A voucher at westhab.org/WesthabFondue-Raiser.pdf is available for diners who cannot attend either event. A percentage of the dining check will be donated to Westhab.
