Angry Orchard debuts new flavor and variety pack

The Walden-based hard cider maker Angry Orchard has introduced both a new flavor and a new variety pack.

The new flavor is Crisp Imperial, which offers an 8% ABV. Angry Orchard promotes the beverage as offering “the Crisp Apple flavor drinkers know and love, now with an added edge,” adding that it carries “that extra punch and deliciously bold flavor to help get through the hectic holidays and beyond.” Crisp Imperial is now available in six-pack cans and will be a permanent, year-round addition to the Angry Orchard portfolio. The new variety pack is The Knotty Bunch, a limited edition product featuring three styles: Crisp Light, which offers “he same fresh apple taste of Crisp Apple, now just lighter on the sugar, calories and ABV”; Cranberry Pomegranate, featuring “real fruit juice from two classic winter fruits blended with apple”; and Ginger, a “fan-favorite flavor returning just for the season.” The brand’s flagship Crisp Apple is also included in The Knotty Bunch.
