Westport mobile tech startup expands to Android
deets Inc., a Westport-based mobile technology developer founded in 2011, announced Jan. 16 that it has expanded its mobile business communications platform to include all Android operating systems.
The platform, which launched in 2012 in the form of a mobile application, aims to centralize and simplify group communications by letting users manage group conversations and projects from a single mobile dashboard.
Since being established, deets, which also has an office in Los Olivos, Calif., has secured more than $1.5 million in early-stage funding, including a $750,000 investment from Connecticut Innovations, the company said.
“The addition of Android operating systems to our platform will make it easier for even more people to see firsthand the benefits and convenience we offer,” said Linda Miller, CEO and co-founder.
