URI sells “RentalMan”
United Rentals Inc. found a buyer for its InfoManager and Wynne Systems subsidiaries in Irvine, Calif., which develop “RentalMan” software to track inventory for rental companies.
Greenwich-based United Rentals did not immediately reveal what Constellation Software Inc. paid in the transaction.
Toronto-based Constellation stated it has paid $50 million on acquisitions so far this year including the URI deal.
Constellation sells industry-specific software for multiple venues, including its Trapeze Software used by public transportation agencies to plan schedules and track vehicles.
