ULI Westchester/Fairfield hosts real estate trends forum
Urban Land Institute Westchester/Fairfield will host its annual real estate trends and forecast meeting this Friday, Nov. 6, at 360 Hamilton Ave. in downtown White Plains.
The morning event in the office building”™s auditorium will feature a presentation on “Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2016,” published by ULI and PricewaterhouseCoopers, and the outlook for the region”™s real estate markets from the view of real estate developers and a banking investor.
The Emerging Trends report, now in its 37th year, provides an outlook on U.S. investment and development trends, real estate finance and capital markets, property sectors, metropolitan areas, and other real estate issues. It draws on formal and informal surveys of real estate executives, investors, developers and market experts around the U.S., including survey responses from more than 1,500 real estate executives and personal interviews with 350 industry leaders.
A panel of real estate experts offering their outlook on local markets will be moderated by Mitch Roschelle, real estate partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Panelists are H. Guy Leibler, president of Simone Healthcare Development; David Mann, founding owner and president of Lighthouse Enterprises LLC, and Tracy Dembicer, senior relationship manager at First Niagara Financial Group.
The Emerging Trends presentation will start at 9 a.m., followed by the panel discussion at 10:15 a.m. Registration and breakfast will be from 8:30 to 9 a.m.
Admission to the event is $45 for private-sector ULI members, $40 for public-sector members and $35 for full-time students who are members of ULI and members of its Young Leaders Group. Admission for non-members is $60 for private-sector and $55 for public-sector attendees and $50 for full-time students. The cost includes a copy of the 2016 Emerging Trends report and a continental breakfast.
