Two companies lease office space in Stratford
Two companies recently signed long-term lease agreements for offices in Stratford. Tenants Unicare L.L.C. and Eastern Connection were represented by Vidal/Wettenstein, a Westport-based commercial real estate firm, in the negotiations.
Unicare, a home health company in Bridgeport, will relocate to 80 Ferry Blvd. in October. The company will occupy a 4,950-square-foot space formerly leased to an engineering firm that moved to Shelton. Unicare specializes in health care services for clients who need private duty nursing, home aides and physical, occupational and speech therapy. Ted Hoyt of Martin Caselli was the listing broker.
Eastern Connection Operating Inc., which has Stratford offices at 200 Benton St., plans to expand its operations to a new space at 350 Long Beach Blvd. The company is leasing a 9,000-square-foot space in the Stratford Executive Park. Eastern Connection is an East Coast provider of transportation and logistics services, including trucking, warehousing, parcel delivery and international shipping. Jon Angel of Angel Commercial was the listing broker.
“We”™ve been leasing and selling space in Stratford for 38 years,” said Bruce Wettenstein, partner with Vidal/Wettenstein. “Stratford has always been a good market for industrial companies, but there weren”™t a lot of office spaces. However, this office space was a perfect fit for Unicare.”
Wetternstein said he could not disclose the terms of the lease agreements.
