Stamford Health launches “glammograms” for breast cancer screenings

Despite improvements in technology and practice, getting a mammogram is still far from a popular way to spend an afternoon. So for Women’s Health Month Stamford Health is providing “glammograms” that elevate the experience beyond a clinical appointment.

Patients who schedule a mammogram at the Tully Health Center in Stamford on June 1, July 6, or August 10 will receive their choice of either a free 15 minute massage or manicure after their appointment. The program launched on May 11 and was well received by patients.

The Tully Health Center offers 3D mammography, Breast MRIs, and Breast Health Imaging alongside leading expertise in treating breast cancer. Stamford Health is the second largest teaching affiliate of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
