Tech group expands to Danbury

Southridge Technology Group L.L.C. based in Ridgefield has announced the opening of a second office at 3 Corporate Drive in Danbury.

“We expanded into this second location to serve our growing number of Northern Fairfield County and Litchfield County clients, plus to host ongoing seminars and workshops on various technology subjects,” said Joseph M. Garzi, president and founder of Southridge Technology. “Our corporate office in the Executive Pavilion at 90 Grove St. in Ridgefield will continue to serve our southern Fairfield County, Westchester and New York City clients.”

The company says its expanding client roster, which currently exceeds over 500, supporting over 3,000 desktops, has necessitated the expansion. The business provides services including computer sales, service and support; network assessment and analysis; computer system sales and repair; and e-mail and Web hosting. Southridge is known for supporting medical and dental offices.

“Our business keeps expanding because we believe in building relationships, keeping businesses current with technology, and growing with our clients as they grow,” said Garzi. “Success is about three things: customer service, customer service, customer service. People call us because we”™re local, customer service oriented, respond quickly, open 24/7, Microsoft Gold Certified, and they love working with the integrated Web utilities we offer. When I do a network assessment for a client, or help them open a second or third office, my background in finance and accounting offers technology solutions as well as sound business solutions.”

“They respond rapidly, provide complete follow through, and do whatever is needed to take care of their customers,” said Thom Goracy, practice administrator of the Dental Associates of Connecticut P.C. “Every one of our 150 staff members could not be happier with the thorough, expeditious and expert service Southridge is providing. We are delighted and relieved to be working with such a stellar group of expert professionals who have exceeded our expectations.”

The Microsoft Gold Certification means Southridge integrates the technologies of Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Dell, Cisco and Intel to create individualized solutions for its clients.

In July, Southridge was part of the Microsoft”™s Across America Virtual Truck Tour, and the Microsoft Across-America bus was featured at Southridge”™s Danbury location grand opening.

“This 42 foot state-of-the-art truck was transformed into a hands-on, interactive environment complete with the latest technologies and integrated software and hardware solutions,” said Garzi. “Our grand opening guests experienced live demonstrations of solutions that could improve and grow their businesses.”

The company is planning to offer a Health Insurance Portability Act compliance seminar during the spring of this year.
