Startup Weekend on tap in Stamford

Startup Weekend Stamford will be held at the Stamford Innovation Center April 26 to April 28.

With the help of local business leaders and mentors, entrepreneurs at the event will have 54 hours to develop, design and launch startups as a part of team.

The winning team will receive free coworking space at the Innovation Center and first place winners will receive free accounting consultation and company formation services.

Bob Dorf, an adjunct professor of entrepreneurship at Columbia Business School, will deliver the opening address along with Kathleen Warner, COO of Startup America Partnership. Both are Fairfield County residents.
