Stamford Hospital set to open Chelsea Piers facility

An 18,500-square-foot outpatient center that will be operated by Stamford Hospital at Chelsea Piers Connecticut is scheduled to open April 1.

The Orthopedic & Spine Institute, which was formally unveiled in November as part of a partnership between the hospital and Chelsea Piers, will provide athletes and patients access to orthopedic and spinal surgeons, imaging and other medicinal services.

Chelsea Piers, which opened its Stamford location last July, and Stamford Hospital will also collaborate to offer a Motion Analysis program, through which experts will provide patients with motion and biomechanical analysis for specific movement, and an Athletes and the Arts program, which is aimed at fostering collaboration between competitive sports and the performing arts.
