Spa with medical credentials opens
La Jolie Salon & Spa, of Stamford has opened a salon and spa, Med-Spa, offering medical aesthetic services.
The medical services will be conducted under the care and supervision of Ramin Ahmadi, doctor of internal medicine at Griffin Hospital in Derby and assistant clinical professor of medicine at Yale University School of Medicine.
“I am fortunate to share my medical expertise with La Jolie Salon & Spa by offering their clients the opportunity to restore their natural beauty and rejuvenate their appearance with medical aesthetics,” said Ahmadi. “La Jolie Salon & Spa is the perfect location for a Medi-Spa since it already offers different services from hair design and color to spa facials and massages and has a variety of customers who are eager to experience new treatments.”
Included in the treatments are laser photo facials, laser leg vein removal, permanent laser hair removal, microdermabrasion and dermal fillers.
La Jolie was founded by Anthony Lupinacci and today his daughters, Toni Ann Lupinacci-McClenny and Cheryl Van Voorhies, are the owners of the salon.
“We are excited to be the only salon in Fairfield County to launch this first-of-its-kind venture,” said Lupinacci-McClenny, co-owner of La Jolie Salon & Spa. “We are filling the needs of our clients who trust the quality of our services and products and are looking forward to an expanded range of aesthetic services conducted by Dr. Ahmadi, an experienced physician.”
La Jolie Salon & Spa is located on the second floor of 388 Summer Street in Stamford.
