Six companies sign leases in Greenwich Office Park

Real estate firms Clarion Partners and CBRE Group announced six new leases totaling 47,058 square feet at the recently renovated Greenwich Office Park.

The 430,000-square-foot, nine-building office complex is set on 23 wooded acres in Greenwich. New York City-based Clarion Partners and Stamford-based CBRE began a $13 million renovation project in 2012 to upgrade the buildings”™ entries, common areas and landscaping.

Margaret L. Egan, senior vice president of asset management with Clarion Partners, said the capital investment program led to the new leases. David Block, senior vice president of CBRE, said other factors in leasing success include the office park”™s new prebuilt units with high-end finishes and its turn-key solutions.

The new leases are in four of the complex”™s buildings.

Starwood Capital Group, a global private investment firm, signed a lease for 24,027 square feet at 5 Greenwich Office Park. Starwood Capital Group was represented by Gil Ohls, managing director of JLL.

RiskMatch, a business intelligence and analytics firm that provides insurance portfolio management and placement solutions to insurance brokers and insurers, leased a 1,991-square-foot prebuilt suite, prior to completion, in 5 Greenwich Office Park. RiskMatch was represented by Greg Frisoli, executive managing director of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.

CareNext, an eviCore company, will move from Purchase, N.Y., to 5,156 square feet at 4 Greenwich Office Park. Chris O”™Callaghan, managing director, and Mark Jacobs, associate, of JLL, represented CareNext.

A local investment manager signed a lease for 7,331 square feet of space at 1 Greenwich Office Park. It was represented by Robert Caruso, senior managing director, and Michael Nelson, vice president, of CBRE.

Private equity manager Ropart Asset Management leased 5,058 square feet at 3 Greenwich Office Park. Jacqueline Durels, senior managing director of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, represented Ropart.

Cross River Advisors, which handles business development for alternative asset managers and operating companies, leased 3,495 square feet at 3 Greenwich Office Park. It was represented by Torey Walsh, managing director of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.
