Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. announced the newly flagged Sheraton Hartford South Hotel in Rocky Hill, previously operated under the Marriott brand.
The Sheraton Hartford South Hotel has some 250 guest rooms and more than 8,500 square feet of meeting space. The hotel is undergoing a $6 million renovation under owner Merced Partners and manager Wischermann Partners Inc., both based in Minnetonka, Minn.
