Pitney Bowes tool aims to ease business mail management
Stamford-based Pitney Bowes Inc. recently introduced a new tool the company says gives small and midsize businesses a way to better manage the life cycle of mail, from document design to delivery across physical and digital channels.
Mailstream On Demand is an off-site communications production and delivery system that, according to a Pitney Bowes press release, will “help clients create more effective transactional communications that drive commerce.”
“As customer preference for receiving transactional communications continues to evolve, small and medium-sized businesses are searching for innovative solutions to better manage their customer communications and leverage emerging digital channels,” said Steve Barnes, Pitney Bowes vice president of global product management. “SMBs can now benefit from the latest technology, expertise and capabilities previously affordable to only the highest-volume mailers. Mailstream On Demand also makes it easy to migrate to digital communications channels.”
Mailstream On Demand clients have the option to use Inlet, a technology platform developed by Pitney Bowes and Broadridge Financial Solutions to give companies a secure and customizable space to access and provide important documents.
Clients can manage mailed or online payments. For physical mail, Mailstream On Demand gives clients postal discounts.
