Penske Automotive Group of Fairfield has opened its new Audi Fairfield showroom.Â
The event marks the official return of Audi Fairfield to its original location at 435 Commerce Drive, now the largest new Audi showroom in Connecticut.
According to Randall Seymore, area vice president for Penske Automotive Group, construction began last fall with the move of the showroom to temporary space and demolition of the old Audi of Fairfield building at 435 Commerce Drive.
The showroom was completely rebuilt to 14,400 square feet, with delivery bays, 17-foot-high ceilings, Quattro Café and boutique with Audi merchandise.
“We began rebuilding our service center and showrooms in 2007,” said Seymore. “We are extremely pleased to provide the best possible car shopping experience for area consumers, the largest Audi showroom in Connecticut, and terrific outdoor space for our certified pre-owned selection.”
According to Seymore, Penske Automotive Group has now invested $23 million in its automobile facilities in the region.
Audi of Fairfield is situated on 2.8 acres of property. It sits side-by-side with Penske Automotive Group”™s Porsche of Fairfield, which was also totally rebuilt and re-opened in July.Â
