New data wrangler for equity plans

Computershare Limited in Shelton has released a new product service to track and manage information better for equity plan auditors, the company reports.

“One of the most important and often time-demanding tasks for our clients is preparing reports for auditors,” said Patricia Brown, director of technology solutions for Computershare. “Now, all the important detailed data will be tracked automatically through the new audit features.”

The company has released its Express Equity suite of products, version 9.0.

Computershare, is a financial services provider for the global securities industry.

According to Brown, a significant enhancement has been made to support audit capabilities with a new function. The function allows clients”™ applications to their equity plan data to be tracked and stored.

The Express Equity products with the new audit features include: Express Options, Express Stock Purchase, and Express Share Tracking.

“We know our clients”™ priority is to get the most value from their equity compensation programs so that is what will drive our efforts,” said Brown.

The upgrade implies no additional cost to current customers, according to the company.
