Legislation to prioritize state aid to exporters

Connecticut exporters are set to get a boost under a bill that will be signed by Gov. Dannel P. Malloy this afternoon in Middletown.

The legislation allows the state to prioritize economic assistance to businesses that are pursuing global commerce, and will help facilitate exports by Connecticut firms, according to a release from the governor’s office.

Malloy will hold a bill-signing ceremony at Test Logic Inc., a supplier of turbine engine and transmission test equipment for aircraft. There, he will is expected to be joined by U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro, representatives of the U.S. Department of Commerce and other state and local officials.
