Indian tech company Datawise buys ComSim of Fairfield

Datawise Management Services Pvt. Ltd., based in Hyderabad, India, a business analytics and information technology service provider, reported recently it acquired ComSim Inc., a Fairfield-based company dating to 1993, through a stock purchase.

Terms were not disclosed.

ComSim specializes in business-to-business market research. Its Cfor product offers paperless tracking of reported customer issues. Its SatisACTual application is designed for real-time assessment of customer satisfaction.

Datawise is an 11-year-old company with global clients in the area of consulting and analytics. It has developed analytics products such as Dattab, a mobile analytics solution; Optilox, an optimization solution; and Crest, a segmentation solution.

Datawise said the acquisition of ComSim will help it deliver “high quality analytics solutions to its customers across the geographies of the U.S., Europe, Middle East and India and enable greater market penetration.”

Vinay Kumar, CEO of Datawise, in a statement said, “This acquisition is strategic for us and will help us achieve greater efficiencies due to synergies in business operations. Our clients all across the world will benefit from the high-quality services of consulting and analytics backed with reliable IT services.”

Datawise said it was recognized as among the “25 Most Promising Business Intelligence Companies in India” by the magazine CIO Review India in 2013.
