Harbor Point building sells for $99 million

One of Harbor Point’s residential buildings in Stamford sold for $98.8 million.

Clarion Partners, a real estate investment manager, announced the purchase July 30.  The building, Infinity Harbor Point, includes 242 units and is the tallest of the several residential buildings within the Harbor Point development project.

Located in the south end of Stamford along the Long Island Sound, the development project includes 400,000 square feet of office space and 130,000 square feet of retail. In December The LockWorks At Yale and Towne, another residential building in the development, sold for $130 million. Earlier this week, leasing also opened up for 111 Harbor Point.

“This is a best-in-class asset with superior unit finishes and property amenities,” said Brian Watkins, a  Clarion Partners managing director, in a statement. “It was designed for residents seeking a 24-hour lifestyle in an urban location with easy access to employment centers, mass transit, restaurants, and retail shopping.”

Eventually Building & Land Technology, the developer of the property, plans to build roughly 2,700 additional units to add to the existing 1,350 residential units.
