Guardian of cars and now of your good name
LifeLock, an identity-theft prevention and protection company from Tempe, Arizona, last week announced a partnership with AAA Connecticut Motor Club.
“Once we had the opportunity to explain the value of what LifeLock offers, AAA was very receptive,” said Steven McGrady, vice president of strategic alliance at Life Lock. “It”™s a natural existence of our demographic.”
The partnership will provide a preferred discount to AAA club members and employees to protect their identities. AAA and LifeLock”™s relationship began with AAA Florida Motor Club, making Connecticut the second state to add the identity-theft prevention services.
“AAA Connecticut Motor Club is in a unique position to be one of the first travel services to offer our complete identity theft prevention service,” said Todd Davis, LifeLock CEO. “AAA members and employees will now be able to go where they want, whenever they want and never worry about identity theft being a problem.”
LifeLock sets and automatically renews fraud alerts with major credit bureaus, removing member names from pre-approved credit card offers and junk mail lists.
