Greenwich property sells for $120M
Copper Beech Farm, a 51-acre property and mansion on the Greenwich waterfront, was purchased by the Conservation Institute L.L.C. on April 11 for $120 million, according to CTNews.com, whose story was widely disseminated on the Web.
The original asking price last fall was $190 million.
The property will reportedly remain a single parcel.
Realtor David Ogilvy, who listed the property, told CTNews, “This is also the most expensive property sold in America. The next-most-expensive sold for $117 million in California.”
