Greenwich chamber reschedules ACA seminar
The Greenwich Chamber of Commerce has rescheduled its educational seminar titled “Making Sense of How the Affordable Care Act Will Affect You.” The event was cancelled due to the snowstorm Jan. 26-27.
The event will be Monday at CEO Executive Offices, 75 Holly Hill Lane. It starts at 6 p.m., with registration at 5:45 p.m. The fee is $10.
The chamber in a statement said the seminar will explain in “understandable terms what the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is and how it impacts taxes.” Its focus is both for individuals and for businesses.
Other topics include penalties associated with not having health insurance and how and where to obtain insurance. The presentation will be led by Len Carusi and Tom Keller of H&R Block, 41 West Putnam Ave.
