Three Fairfield County executives are among the world’s most powerful women in business, according to Forbes magazine.
Greenwich resident Indra Nooyi, CEO of Westchester County, N.Y.-based PepsiCo Inc., ranked 13th, ahead of Oprah Winfrey, who came in 14th, singer Beyonce Knowles, who came in 17th, and Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer, who came in 18th.
Norwalk’s Ursula Burns, CEO and chairwoman of Xerox, came in 22nd place.
Westport’s Bonnie Hammer, chairwoman of NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment Group, ranked 42nd, ahead of TV host Ellen DeGeneres, who ranked 46th, and actress Angelina Jolie, who came in 50th.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel ranked first, followed by new Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen. Hillary Rodham Clinton ranked sixth, and Michelle Obama came in eighth.
