Danbury IT provider expands to Norwalk with acquisition

Danbury information technology services provider Network Support Co. L.L.C. has acquired the Norwalk operations of a West Palm Beach, Fla. competitor.

Network Support Co. and SLPowers,which also has offices in Atlanta and New York City, did not detail the acquisition value or terms.

Jim Kennedy, founder and CEO of Network Support Co., said the firm is “thrilled to welcome our new clients and our new employees.”

Founded in 1996, Network Support Co. has more than 50 employees, including about 30 technical staff, and works primarily with small and midsize businesses in Connecticut and New York. The firm provides IT support and strategic planning as well as helping clients to store or manage their servers though co-location and cloud services offerings.
