FAIRFIELD – Two top real estate agents have joined New York City-based Brown Harris Stevens (BHS) to lead the firm’s new Southport office, the company announced Jan. 22.

Andrew Whiteley and Wendy Ryan, both formerly of William Raveis, have joined BHS Connecticut brokerage.

Whiteley has been a leading sales agent at William Raveis for 12 years, serving as president of the Premier Homes Division at Team AFA, ranked as the No. 1 real estate team in New England by Real Trends. For nine consecutive years, he has been the top producer in the Southport flagship office.

William Raveis, has consistently ranked among the firm’s top agents and served as senior vice president of sales. In 2023 alone, they both had more than $115 million in sales, bringing their combined career participating transactions to more than $1 billion, including numerous record-breaking transactions across lower Fairfield County.

Notably, they recently sold a Southport property for $15 million — the highest-priced home sale in Connecticut last year outside of Greenwich.

“Andrew and Wendy are extremely well-respected members of the real estate and greater Fairfield County communities,” said Chris Halstead, BHS senior executive vice president and managing director of sales, Connecticut. “We are fortunate to count them as flagship agents in our new Southport office as we expand our presence to better serve our clients.”

Brown Harris Stevens’ Southport office is located at 167 Old Post Road, bringing the total number of BHS Connecticut offices to seven.

“Partnering with a prestigious brand like Brown Harris Stevens exemplifies our continued commitment to a relationship-driven private banking model for real estate, Whiteley said. “This strategic collaboration further enhances our ability to offer tailored partnerships within the firm.”

Ryan said she is excited about the opportunity to expand BHS’ reach in Southport, which has established itself as luxury home spot in Connecticut.

“Brown Harris Stevens’ unmatched resources and extensive network will enable us to strengthen our position and maintain our dominant market share along Connecticut’s Gold Coast,” she said.
