Brother and sister invent, market soccer-teaching aid

Brother-sister Stamford residents Kirsten and Erik Nergaard recently displayed their Kick-It device for soccer training at Family Fun Day at the Hyatt Regency in Old Greenwich. Erik is a student at New York University and Kirsten at Philips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire.

“My sister and I are both recruited athletes and she has had the device tested at Philips Exeter and I have shown the device at NYU,” Erik said.

The two also have demonstrated the patent-pending device ”” manufactured in China and described as “lightweight, portable and sturdy” ”” in New York, New Hampshire and Minnesota. The Facebook page is KickItAthletics.
