BCM Media certified as Women’s Business Enterprise
The national Women’s Business Enterprise National Council recently certified BCM Media, a private media-consulting firm in Darien, allowing the woman-owned company to take advantage of diversity supplier programs at hundreds of major U.S. companies. Twelve-thousand companies nationally have earned the certification as a Women”™s Business Enterprise.
“Two-year old BCM Media has made great strides in building a solid media planning and buying company that provides national and local clients with high-quality service and smart media solutions,” the company said in a statement.
The certification announcement also said, “A media consultancy headed by a woman is rare in the industry. Managing director and founder Brenda McKenna has worked with many high-profile clients, such as Crowley Maritime Corp., Copper Development Association, Fuji Film Medical Systems and many other traditional business-to-business clients.”
