Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak to speak at Manhattanville College
Apple Computer co-founder Steve Wozniak will speak at Manhattanville College on April 5 as part of the college”™s Castle Conversations public forums.
Wozniak is an inventor, electronics engineer and programmer who played a pivotal role in launching the personal computer industry. Wozniak was inducted into the Inventors Hall of Fame in 2000 and founded the Electronic Frontier Foundation, a non-profit digital rights group. Wozniak is also the author of a New York Times best seller, his autobiography, iWoz: From Computer Greek to Cult Icon.
Castle Conversations is a speaker series intended to engage residents of Westchester and Fairfield counties with new ideas from journalists, scientists, historians, artists and entrepreneurs.
New York Times columnist David Brooks kicked off the series in February. Twyla Tharp, founder of her own internationally known dance company and Danny Meyer, CEO of Union Square Hospitality Group, will speak at the college in the fall.
