80-room hotel opens in Stratford

Located at 1500 South Ave., the hotel has 80 guest rooms and a meeting room for up to 50 people. The facility is managed by HP Hotels of Birmingham, Ala.

Silver Spring, Md.-based Choice Hotels also franchises the Rodeway Inn in Stratford, as well as a Comfort Suites in Danbury.

Stratford”™s largest hotel is the Homewood Suites by Hilton at 6905 Main St., which has 135 guest rooms.
