Thirteenth annual Connecticut Barber Expo, Barber Grammys May 4-6

Registration is open for Connecticut Barber Expo 13, taking place at the Mohegan Sun resort in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Events will start on May 4 with the Barber Grammys, a celebration of new-comers, old hands, content creators, and influencers in the hair care and barber shop space. Voting for entrants will begin on March 4 through the Barber Expo’s social media platforms and continue through several rounds until April 17.

May 5 and 6 will feature educational seminars, vendor booths, and a series of competitions for barbers seeking to compete in what has been called the “Superbowl of Barbering.”

The 2023 event drew more than 15,000 attendees according to organizers. Attendees and vendors came from across the United States and from 36 countries around the world. The organizers have teased that celebrities, rappers, and influencers will also be in attendance.

Signups for competitions are still open but require separate registration. Tickets range from $45 for general admission on Monday May 6 to the $276 Elite VIP which features access to exclusive events and complimentary benefits such as a free foil shaver.
