Spend Sunday at Untermyer Gardens Conservancy

With the heat and travel woes making summer a particular challenge, Untermyer Gardens Conservancy in Yonkers offers a respite. On Sunday, Aug. 7, there”™s a full day of events at the Greco-Persian site, beginning with a family adventure tour of the Walled Garden from 10 to 11 a.m. ($12). That”™s followed by the president”™s tour from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ($25). The Minnie Untermyer Performance Series features The Athenians opera group, 5 to 6:30 p.m. ($50). Cap the day with Sunset Yoga and instructor Sylvia Samilton-Baker, 7:10 to 8:10 p.m. ($25).
