Selva Beauty adds CBD to skincare portfolio

In July, we told you about Purchase entrepreneur Francisca Ferreira”™s Selva Beauty line of skincare products, which draws on her roots in Brazil”™s Amazon region. As summer waned, Ferreira held a white-and-gold party at the home she shares with husband Val Morano Sagliocco, president and CEO of the Morano Group of landscaping and hardscaping companies, and daughters Sofia and Isabella to introduce Selva Beauty”™s new CBD-infused products. They include a Hydrating Face Moisturizer with hyaluronic acid and aloe; a Perfect 10 Oil Cleanser with plant oils; a Detoxifying Charcoal Mask with three types of clay; and a Detox Nightwear Cream with lavender and peony.

The products, Ferreira wrote us, are vegan; rich in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and natural oils; free of animal testing; and environmentally friendly.

“Vegan products decrease the chances of skin problems, such as rashes, allergies, eczema, acne, skin inflammation and other skin diseases, due to lack of chemicals used,” Ferreira added. “These are perfect for sensitive skin.”
