Green & Tonic – the plant-based eatery with locations in Chappaqua, Rye Brook, the Cos Cob section of Greenwich, Darien, New Canaan and Westport – will open in Stamford this August, the first of three new locations to come from the brand. (The other two will be in the Glenville and Old Greenwich neighborhoods of Greenwich.) Said G&T CEO Fausto Mieres:  “This opening represents a full circle moment for me as I am a lifelong resident of Stamford. We’re so excited to expand here and continue to grow the G&T brand.”

Green & Tonic’s menu is house-made and 100% gluten-free, with offerings like salads, toasts, grain and acai bowls, cold-pressed juices, breakfast sandwiches and smoothies. Signature creations include Supr Brew Coffee (organic coffee drinks and lattes) and Swirl, a dairy-free, oat milk soft serve.

With indoor and outdoor seating, G&T Stamford, downtown at 54 West Park Place, will feature another signature, The Salad Station. Recently launched at G & T’s Darien and New Canaan locations, The Salad Station gives guests the chance to customize their salads in a convenient, to-go shaker or bowl, using a greens base, toppings and a G&T homemade dressing like creamy lemon tahini, pesto vinaigrette or the new turmeric citrus. The brand’s new Meal Boxes will also be available at the Stamford store, offering a way to create three to five days’ worth of meals and snacks, easily packaged and ready to pick up.

In addition, 12-year-old Green & Tonic’s sister brand, Supr Food Kitchen is opening the area’s first healthy drive-through in Darien later this summer. It will seek to disrupt the fast-food industry by using fresh ingredients to create nutrient-rich meals that are delicious and free of inflammatory seed oils.
