Even a flooring store needs a floor of its own. A new Floor & Decor store in Port Chester will be built on top of construction materials provided by Thalle Industries.

The company has supplied approximately 15,000 tons of material fill and base for the project at 130 Midland Ave. These were used to build up the ground of the construction site.

”¯“We are proud to supply locally sourced construction materials to projects throughout the Hudson Valley,” said Glenn Pacchiana, president and CEO of Thalle Industries, an environmentally conscious supplier of high-quality virgin and recycled aggregate, asphalt products and brownfield fill for the construction industry. “As we move into the spring and summer construction season”¦our Fishkill and Elmsford sites will ramp up their deliveries to major jobs throughout Westchester County.”

”¯A former Key Foods supermarket was demolished to make way for a new, 80,000-square-foot building.

”¯Headquartered in Atlanta, Floor & Decor sells tile, wood, laminate, vinyl and natural stone flooring, as well as wall tile, installation materials and related merchandise. This will be its first Westchester County store, though not its first in the area.  The chain has locations in Danbury and Fairfield.
