Brava to Talbots for continuing to celebrate its return to The Westchester in White Plains with a Holiday Trunk Show Thursday, Nov. 16, that spoke to women’s desire for stylish comfort.

Lindsey Malmborg of the company’s main campus in Hingham, Massachusetts, introduced attendees to some of the season’s biggest trends:

  1. Denim remains queen – (and king. See Travis Kelce.) Malmborg said she keeps a jeans jacket in her car to give any outfit a casual or edgy appearance. Dress it up with one of Talbot’s statement necklaces and a pair of jeans with a sequin stripe up the side.
  2. Talbots’ Chanel-inspired bouclé (tweed) jacket gives jeans that extra polish. A black sequined version with white detailing makes the season bright.
  3. Also brightening the season – plenty of fuchsia, or hot pink in a variety of pieces, including always flattering V-neck items. Or go monochromatic with a fuchsia jacket and pants. Who says monochromatic can’t be jazzy?
  4. Hostesses can’t miss with a polka-dot sweater and plaid poodle skirt – a look that says relaxed yet festive.
  5. Maybe all you need for the holidays is a great accessory, like a faux fur scarf or a velvet shell.
  6. Talbots partners with Haven Well Within for sleek loungewear for those days when you want to sleep in or just be cozy.
