A record-breaking Art$WChallenge

In 2022, ArtsWestchester”™s Art$WChallenge raised a record $1.28 million. Participating arts organizations raised $786,541 in private funds, which were matched with $501,571 in support from Westchester County. 

The announcement was made Friday, Jan. 27, at Morton”™s in White Plains, not far from ArtsWestchester”™s Arts Exchange headquarters. Attendees included Westchester County Executive George Latimer, Westchester County Legislature Chairwoman Catherine Borgia, ArtsWestchester CEO Janet Langsam and representatives of local arts groups. 

Since the inception of the Art$WChallenge in 2007, this public/private program has raised more than $6 million to support Westchester”™s arts and cultural sector, matched with more than $3 million in county support.
