A group that is ‘Intempo’ with Fairfield County

Just in time for Hispanic Heritage Month, Intempo — a Stamford-based nonprofit providing young people with music education programs ”“ presents a concert series on the sounds of Latino America, using native instruments. Lead teaching artist Geo Suquillo (charango, an Andean lute, and native panflutes) and bass instructor Deiker Torrealba (bass, Venezuelan cuatro, a kind of guitar, and voice) will perform in the Sunday concerts together with advanced students on the following dates: 

Sept. 17, 3 p.m. ”“ Darien Arts Center, 2 Renshaw Road; 

Oct. 1, 4 p.m. ”“ St. Mark”™s Episcopal Church, 111 Oenoke Ridge, New Canaan; 

Oct. 15, 4 p.m. ”“ First Congregational Church of Greenwich, 108 Sound Beach Ave., Old Greenwich.
