Lyndhurst In Bloom Flower Show

The annual Lyndhurst in Bloom flower show will kick off Lyndhurst’s 2024 spring season with an exciting array of floral and art installations on Saturday, April 20^th and Sunday, April 21^st from 10 AM to 5 PM. Sixteen florists and artists will have designs on display in the mansion, while four florists and artists will have displays on view outside. A spring market will feature more than 30 vendors offering plants, flowers, garden, and gift-related items. Other activities include special lectures and demonstrations, landscape talking tours, and a pop-up café by Geordanes of Irvington.

Lyndhurst in Bloom offers a fresh twist on a traditional flower show, transforming the fabled Lyndhurst mansion and grounds into a contemporary celebration of spring, flowers, and art that is accessible to audiences of all ages and backgrounds. The show features large, experiential installations in the many rooms of Lyndhurst mansion as well as outside. Florists and artists participating in the event hail from New York City, Westchester County, and the Hudson Valley region. Many of the installations combine old and new elements, such as artist Joshua Werber’s artwork combining elaborate

floral crowns with mannequins wearing 1920’s flapper dresses belonging to Lyndhurst’s last owner, Anna Gould, Duchess of Talleyrand.

Opening the Lyndhurst 2024 season on Saturday, April 20^th and Sunday, April 21^st, Lyndhurst in Bloom (previously known as the Lyndhurst Flower Show) features 20 floral designers and contemporary artists working in flowers, botanicals, and other materials, to create an immersive floral experience in one of the most iconic historic mansions.

Visit the botanical market featuring a curated collection of floral and garden offerings by local artisans, florists, and boutiques. Free activities will be available throughout the property including special walk and talk landscape tours and floral-themed workshops for the whole family. A pop-up cafe will be in the welcome center for visitors to enjoy a bite to eat.

Lyndhurst is transformed with luscious botanical displays that highlight and harmonize with the opulent interiors of the historic mansion.
