WWE to host Backlash and SmackDown shows in France

Stamford-headquartered WWE will be hosting its first-ever Premium Live Event in France next spring.

WWE Backlash France will take place at the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Decines on May 4, 2024. Backlash 2023, held earlier this year at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico, was the highest-grossing and most-viewed Backlash in company history.

One day before WWE Backlash France, the wrestling promotion will present its WWE SmackDown at the LDLC Arena, marking the first time SmackDown will broadcast from France.
