Terror at Quassy returns for Halloween season
Quassy Amusement Park & Waterpark in Middlebury, Connecticut, announced the return of its Halloween season attraction Terror at Quassy, which begins on Oct. 6.
Terror at Quassy features 12 unique scare zones including a zombie hospital, haunted catacombs and misty walkway. For those who want something a bit less terrifying, there will be live entertainment every night including performances by The Sanderson Sisters on select nights. Families can also take part in face painting, tarot card reading and trick or treating on Sundays.
Also included in park admission is access to 14 of Quassy’s amusement rides including the celebrated Wooden Warrior Roller Coaster and this year’s premiere attraction, the Super Himilaya. The park’s restaurant, arcade and gift shop will also be open.
The Terror at Quassy will take place through Oct. 29 on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Sundays from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.
“Terror at Quassy is really a special time for us because our guests get to experience our amusement rides at night under the stars, with lights and action that is different than summertime,” said George Frantzis, one of the Quassy co-owners. “The additional entertainment that comes with Terror at Quassy gives our summer guests another reason to visit.”
