Renovated Yorktown Stage reopens tomorrow
The renovated Yorktown Stage will have its grand reopening on Feb. 17.
The venue at 1974 Commerce St., which dates back to 1917, underwent a $1.2 million renovation and now includes 551 new seats, new carpeting, an upgraded lobby, a new roof and a new HVAC system. The Yorktown municipal government acquired the theater in 1979.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the public will be held at 6:30 p.m. and the first show at the Yorktown Stage will be a concert by singer-songwriter Anthony Nunziata.
