Brothers Angelo and Ettore Rossetti rally for charity.

Stamford’s Pickleball America saw identical twins Angelo and Ettore Rossetti set a Guinness World Record for the longest pickleball rally in the world on Saturday, August 17.

The brothers hit over 10,000 consecutive rallies in just under two hours, without a single bounce. They were striving not only to set a world record in the country’s fastest growing sport but to contribute to Rally for Charity. Combined with previous world record attempts the  brothers have raised $250,000 for Save the Children, which livestreamed the feat on their Youtube channel.

“My two keywords were hopeful and grateful. I was hopeful that we would set a new record and I am grateful for my family, friends, volunteers, donors and sponsors. Without them, it would not have been possible” said Ettore Rossetti who is also the head advisor for emerging technology, innovation & partnerships at Save the Children.

“I was filled with peaceful excitement today honoring our mom and supporting Save the Children at the same time” said Angelo A. Rossetti, who is co-founder of Rossetti Brothers Pickleball. “This was by far the most challenging of our four world records.”

“We are grateful that the Rossetti Brothers chose our facility to host the Save the Children fundraiser. It is fitting that two Americans (twins no less) set a new Guinnness World Records title at Pickleball America” said Bret Herman, general manager at Pickleball America.
