ConEdison Solutions buys Fla. energy company

ConEdison Solutions, the energy service provider based in White Plains, has acquired BGA Inc., an energy service and engineering company headquartered in Tampa, Fla.
Company officials did not disclose the purchase price.
The Tampa office will join ConEdison Solutions”™ existing offices in Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Virginia and Texas.

BGA develops and implements energy conservation measures for commercial, governmental, health care and institutional facilities. The company specializes in designing complex building systems and energy infrastructure and provides turnkey construction management services. The 21-year-old company has managed more than $200 million in energy service projects.
ConEdison Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Consolidated Edison Inc. Since its founding 10 years ago, the company has grown to more than $1 billion in revenue.
