Shelton power equipment company amps up state presence

Shelton-based Huntington Power Equipment Inc. has leased Bloomfield space with an eye toward expanding its services, notably north toward Hartford.

Chris O”™Hara, senior vice president of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT in Wilton, completed the lease representing Huntington Power Equipment at 34 East Dudley Town Road in Bloomfield.

According to a statement from Coldwell Banker, the new 13,800-square-foot location is a result of continued expansion for the company and will be used to service its customers throughout the state, specifically in the greater Hartford market.

Hunting Power Equipment provides generator systems and emergency power solutions for residential, industrial and mission-critical applications. The company is an authorized dealer for Generac Power Systems and Baldor generators.

The Bloomfield property is owned and managed by AFS Enterprises LLC, a developer and owner of multiple properties in the Bloomfield market.
