Four Seasons and one cause for nonprofit
The Kennedy Center”™s 51st annual Four Seasons Ball at Rolling Hills Country Club in Wilton recently attracted more than 150 guests and raised nearly $90,000 in net proceeds for The Kennedy Center”™s residential services for people with disabilities.
Since its inception in 1965, the Four Seasons Ball has contributed more than $2 million to The Kennedy Center and is one of the longest running charity galas in Fairfield County.
“This year Barbara Green of Milford was honored for her dedication to improving the lives of people with disabilities affiliated with The Kennedy Center and her generosity as a community leader,” the center reported in a prepared statement. An attorney, Green has been associated with the law firm Green and Gross P.C. in Bridgeport since 1990 and has been a partner there for nearly 20 years,
“As an amazing, lifelong volunteer with The Kennedy Center, she has been a strong advocate and inspiration,” the center said. “Following in her parents”™ footsteps, she served as chairman of the board from 2003 to 2005, numerous board committees and presents annual discussions for Caregiver Support Groups. She heads the Board of Directors for the International Institute of Connecticut and volunteers with the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven.
The ball co-chairpersons were Barbara and Robert Scinto of Fairfield. The chairman of the Tribute Journal was Eric Gross of Bridgeport.
