Sayle moves to Larchmont

Sayle Properties, a commercial real estate company specializing in industrial properties, has relocated its headquarters from New Rochelle to 1890 Palmer Ave. in Larchmont.

The company recently sold its 21,700-square-foot headquarters building at 1000 Main St. in New Rochelle to Tutor Perini Corp., a California-based construction contractor with a regional office in Peekskill, for $4.6 million. The building was co-owned by Simone Development Cos., which this month is completing its move of headquarters from 1000 Main St. to its Hutchinson Metro Center development in the Bronx.

Sayle Properties in 2010 also sold its interest in 550 S. Fulton Ave. in Mount Vernon, a 14,400-square-foot industrial building. Mile Square Transportation, based in Yonkers, paid $1.275 million for the property.

Ken Sayle, a principal owner, said Sayle Properties is looking to add buildings in Mount Vernon and in mid-Westchester County to its investment portfolio.

Friedland closes three deals

NAI Friedland Realty Inc. in January closed three commercial deals in Westchester totaling more than 62,000 square feet of space.

The Yonkers-based firm represented furniture retailer Raymour & Flanigan in its previously reported 56,000-square-foot lease in The Source, the 250,000-square-foot shopping center at 1 Maple Ave. in White Plains.

Rick Stassa, Friedland”™s executive vice president, brokered the deal for the tenant. The landlord, UBS Realty Investors L.L.C., was represented by New England Development, based in Newton, Mass.

Stassa also brokered Abbey Carpet”™s lease of 4,000 square feet at 11 Central Park Ave., Scarsdale. Stassa represented both the tenant and landlord, Nagenco Inc., in the deal.

Friedland Realty”™s office division brokered a lease of 2,556 square feet by Center Management Associates at 660 White Plains Road, Tarrytown. Ellen Benedek and Carl Silbergleit, Friedland executive directors, represented the tenant in the deal with landlord RXR Realty L.L.C.
