Dealerships expand on commerce drive

Mercedes-Benz of Fairfield and Devan Infiniti will be expanding their dealerships to a vacant lot between one another. The lot, located at 65 Commerce Drive in Fairfield, will give the two dealerships more space for vehicles on display and employee parking.

Jon Angel, Angel Commercial L.L.C. president, represented all parties in the transaction.

Commercial drive has seen a series of dramatic improvements in the last couple years, including the first new construction project in 30 years on the Bridgeport side of the road.

In July, Angel said he foresees more retail companies moving in on the road in the future as it continues to develop.
