CEO Catherine Maloney will step down at Dutchess County EDC
Dutchess County Economic Development Corp. President and CEO Catherine Maloney has announced she will resign from the post in April.
Maloney joined the economic development agency in 2008 as director of business development and was promoted to interim president and CEO in January 2012. Her position was made permanent in April that year.
Dutchess County EDC board Chairman Edward A. Kellogg in the announcement of her resignation said Maloney “has provided excellent leadership and professionalism for the DCEDC, and leaves us in a strong position financially and organizationally.”
Maloney said she plans to pursue “an entirely new direction in my career. It has been an honor to serve the individuals and businesses of Dutchess County through some difficult times.”
The governance committee of the agency”™s board of directors is discussing next steps for the ongoing leadership of the organization, according to the announcement.
