Another Hotel Zero Degrees on the horizon
Stamford-based RMS Cos., with a portfolio of hospitality and retail properties throughout Fairfield County, is about to expand its Hotel Zero Degrees brand from two to three.
A new Hotel Zero Degrees with 111 rooms will rise in Danbury, with a completion date slated for 2016. The new hotel”™s address will be 15 Milestone Road.
The Danbury hotel joins Hotel Zero Degrees facilities already running in Norwalk at 353 Main Ave. and in Stamford at 909 Washington Blvd. The company also owns the Delamar Southport hotel.
RMS does its own building and is divided into four divisions that include construction, development, management and hospitality.
The hotel will sit on an 8.8-acre parcel approved by Danbury for development of a so-called boutique hotel along with a 100-seat restaurant and 120-seat banquet facility.
“The hotel will be located in the fast growing westside of Danbury that is home to many corporate offices, new luxury housing and hotels,” RMS officials said.
